Charmy Kaur (born May 17, 1987) is a Tollywood actress. She acted with stars such as Simbu, Venkatesh, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Prabhas, Siddarth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Nitin, and Jr. NTR.

Career
Charmi was only 14 years old when she acted in her first film, Nee Thodu Kaavali (Telugu, 2002). This film was a big flop, but helped Charmi get noticed by the south Indian film industry. Her next film was Kadal Azhavatillai (Tamil) which was a hit. After that she acted in a couple more Tamil films but they bombed at the box office.
Her re-entry to Telugu movies happened with Sri Anjaneyam, directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi. This too was a failed attempt. It was followed by another failure with Chanti, paired against Ravi Teja. She finally got a big break in Telugu with Gowri in which she paired with Sumanth. She didn't have to look back afterwards. The stupendous success of Mass with Nagarjuna strengthened her position in Tollywood.
Charmi's most notable and critically acclaimed film so far is Anukokunda Oka Roju. It was a heroine-oriented thriller and had her playing the lead in it. Her performance in the movie was acclaimed by critics.

The first steps

Katrina had started modelling at the age of 14 when she was approached for a jewellery campaign while she was staying in Hawaii – that's where she grew up. From there she moved to London and a ride to fame began. That's when she is said to have been noticed by Kaizad Gustad and she reached Bollywood. Lying low
Katrina didn't lose heart with the first failure. She instead moved down south for a movie. And soon she landed herself with a small role in Ram Gopal Varma's superhit 'Sarkar'. From then on there has been no looking back. Following these she came up with hits after hits, both in Bollywood as well as down south and suddenly started threatening to enter into the top position.

The romance and the Khan
Somewhere in between, the actress started featuring in a whole of reports that linked her up with freshly heart broken Salman Khan. Katrina did go on record denying that there is anything between them. But like the classical Hindi film dialogue, their relationship couldn't really stay in oblivion for too long. Salman gave it away, although the damsel continued to name it a friendship. Their chemistry was seen in 'Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya' and there were hardly any speculations left.

But a romance with the vulnerable Khan can not always stay away from controversies. After speculations of whether they are in a relationship or not started rumours that they would soon be breaking up owning to constant fights between the two. And the tussle was said to be Salman's possessiveness for Katrina. The actress was increasingly signing up roles with Akshay Kumar and their closeness, many say, angered Salman.

The invasion to the top
And while signing film with Akshay was reportedly the cause for personal problems, it also proved to become the best career move. The audience loved the on screen couple so much that almost every movie together they did have been a huge success. The ride started with 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' in 2005 and caught speed in 2007 with two huge successes 'Namastey London' and 'Welcome'. In all 2007 saw Katrina beating all other heroines with two more extremely successful films 'Partner' and 'Apne' giving her a 10 on 10 scorecard.

The consolidation
2008 has not been too good a year commercially for the industry. While stars like Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan have failed to maintain a clean record, Katrina is yet to face a setback with two of the year's biggest hits to back her status. And the year is yet to be over. Subhash Ghai's 'Yuvraj', which releases this November, could as well give her two years of no flops – something that no other heroine has achieved in a long while. And to add to this she has also successfully done away with the dubbing artist who used to dub for her earlier because of her incapability to grasp Hindi pronunciations. Katrina admits that she has very much been dubbing herself for films now.

From a cheat to an adorable girl to an angel faced villain, Katrina has been essaying quite a few roles her own way. After the successful entry into Tamil cinema through her debutant film "Jeyam", Sadha is now acting in an altogether different role in Shankar's "Anniyan" along with "chiyaan" Vikram. She was recently in Chennai for her relative's marriage, where she was interviewed.

Question: How do you distinguish the story line of "Jeyam" and "Anniyan"?

Sadha: There are a lot of differences. I acted as a family girl in "Jeyam", which earned good name for me and my character in the film, throughout Tamil Nadu. After that, in "Varnajalam", the character was entirely different from "Jeyam". In "Ethiri", I was given a comedy character role. But, in "Anniyan" it is entirely different. I act as an Ayengar girl in the film. I'm sure that this character will bring me back the cheers I had in "Jeyam"

	Question: How do you feel working in Shankar's film, Anniyan? Sadha: Really, it is a different feeling in my life, and I am happy to work with the director. Shankar won't leave me alone till he is satisfied with my performances. He is very patient in extracting work from me. If I do any mistake while acting, he will not get angry, but would ask me to do it again and again; and sometimes, he himself would teach me by showing the correct facial expressions. Question: Do you think, you would be in the books of audience only when you act in glamour roles? Sadha: I don't mind acting glamorously, but the glamour should couple with my character in the film I'm acting. Suppose, if I act as an village girl, I must appear glamorously like that of a village girl. If I appear in a city girl's costume, then the people would laugh at me. In "Jeyam", I appeared as an ordinary girl with our traditional style of costumes. That attracted many audience. In Kannada movie, "Monalisa" I have acted as an American return. The producer wanted glamour for the film. So, it all depends on how the director want it according to the story-line of the movie.

Dr. Paluvayi Bhanumathi Ramakrishna (September 7, 1925 – December 24, 2005) was a noted Indian film actress, director, music director, singer, and songwriter.[1]. Most of her works are in Telugu and Tamil languages. She was born in Doddavaram village of Guntur District (now in Prakasam district), Andhra Pradesh. She was married to Sri P. S. Ramakrishna Rao, a film producer, director and editor of Telugu and Tamil Films on 8th August 1943. The couple had one son and later launched a Production company "Bharani Pictures" named after him.

She entered the film industry at the age of 13 in 1935, and acted in over 200 films in Telugu and Tamil. She made her debut in Telugu cinema in 1939 in Varavikrayam (Telugu), directed by P Pulliah. In 1953, she made her directorial debut with 'Chandi Rani' (made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi).Her last film was made in 1998, entitled Pelli kanuka.

Apart from being an exceptional actress, she was also a very talented musician. Her father Mr. Bommaraju Venkatasubbiah was a staunch lover of classical music and gave her early training in music. She was adept in both Carnatic and Hindustani music. She gave voice to her songs long after it became the norm to use playback singers for actors. Some of her songs are still popular like "Pilichina biguvatara" ,"kila kila navvula","preme nerama". She also provided music to a lot of her films.

During her later years she served on various movie related organizations. She was a Member of State Film Awards Committee for two years. She was also a Visiting Professor at the Film Institute for one year. She was Member of Children Film Society for 5 years, from 1965 to 1970.

A bit of a recluse, Rajni may be. But everyone who's had the privelege of a darshan with the thalaivar has come away with a spring in his step and a warm glow in the heart. Warm, friendly and affable, he's the sort who deserves all the superstardom he's earned. Such men, indeed, are rare...

The evergreen unique actor and the Superstar of Tamil industry, Rajinikanth was introduced by the renowned director, K.Balachandar in the movie Aboorva raagangal as a co-artist. It's been 25 years, believe it or not, since the Super Star made his debut with an inconsequential role in a Tamil film. From villain and antihero to blockbuster supernova, the gifted actor has made the most of every outing. And he's deserved every bit of the success. SCREEN analyses why...

It's a wide angle shot. A man is seen opening a gate, dressed in rags and smoking a beedi. A terminally ill disease writ large on his face. Precisely on that frame appears the Sanskrit term shruthi bedham, coupled with an off screen voice, an undoubtedly inauspicious start to any debutante's first screen appearance, especially in the maiden frame.

The film was Apoorva Raagangal (1975). The film itself was thick in controversy, and nobody took notice of the young newcomer, who was on screen barely for fifteen minutes, muttered a few apologetic words to the wronged woman and ultimately died an unsung, unheroic death.

No one in the audience, even in his wildest imagination, would have thought this nondescript man, who had won the least attention in the film would ever win over millions of hearts in Tamil Nadu. Or ride the state like a colossus. Or even that his sway over the masses would be so intense that he could rewrite the fate of Tamil Nadu politics, exactly two decades after the release of his first film.

K Balachander, the director who has an uncanny knack of creating stars, first met Rajnikant at the film institute, where he was a student. Balachander glanced at the dark young man and crisply asked him to meet him in his office the next day. When Rajnikant walked into his office gingerly, Balachander informed him he was going to act in his next film. Overwhelmed by the sudden offer from a big director, Rajnikant just could not believe his ears. It's a feeling Rajni still recounts whenever in the mood of reminiscence.

Later, Balachander confided in his close friend and associate Ananthu, Watch out! There is a fire in the young man's eyes. One day he will take Tamil Nadu by storm. How true the prediction turned out!

Producers went all out to capitalise on this new wonder called Rajnikant, and a string of films projecting him as an anti-hero, with all his stylish mannerisms in full swing, were released in quick succession. Gayathri had him shooting blue films of his wife without her knowledge, Bhairavi, Shankar Salim Simon and the like. Rajni had, by now, become an indisputable star in his own right, a force to reckon with.

Though Rajnikant persistently refers to K. Balachander as his guru, it was director SP Muthuraman who actually revamped Rajni's image entirely. Muthuraman first experimented with him in a positive role in Bhuvana Oru Kelvikkuri, as a villain in the first half and a refined man in the second, accepting a woman with a child ditched by her lover. The success of Bhuvana Oru Kelvikkuri prompted SPM to make a mushy melodrama with Rajni as a hero sacrificing everything for his siblings, a role ideally tailormade for Sivaji Ganesan! That film was Arulirunthu Arupathu Varai, in which Rajni's mannerisms were totally missing and he even appeared as an old man in the last few frames. Even while the film was in the making, Rajni had misgivings about whether the audience would accept him in tear jerkers of this kind. But the film got made and its box-office success made Rajni popular among women audiences, too. These two films were a turning point in Rajni's career he changed from an actor who merely enthralled the audiences, to one who also made them weep. The acceptance of Rajni sans his mannerisms proved he'd at last become an actor from a star. Around this time came Mullum Malarum, directed by J Mahendran, which established Rajni as a hero with a slight tinge of the negative.

Rajnikant's entry may have been humble, in an insignificant role but the success he achieved in a very short span was unimaginable. A popular Tamil magazine brought out a special supplement at a time when his still on the make, and, he presto, the magazine's sales doubled with that issue alone.

Such mass adulation, the thunderous rain of applause when Rajni delivered his lines, all put together, made him a phenomenon. It was at this point that Rajni realised the onus had been thrust on him. The fate of producers hinged on him alone. This sudden exposure to the glare of the media and the popularity and money he never imagined would be his, created a lot of stress in his mind. At that crucial time in his career when his market price had just begun to zoom, he decided to opt out of films completely, sending shock waves to his fans. Balachander, Kamalhaasan and his other well-wishers somehow, coaxed him into staying on.

The second phase of his life started with K Balaji's Billa, a superhit disproving the canard spread by detractors that Rajnikant was finished. He was accepted as a full-fledged hero. Billa was followed by a row of hits like Pokkiri Raja, Thanikkattu Raja, Naan Mahaan Alla and the all-important Moondru Mugham, in which Rajni essayed a triple role. Even two decades after its release, the last continues to be a box-office draw and Rajni's fans can never tire of the thalaivar's verbal clash with villain Senthamarai.
K Balachander's first home production, Nettrikkam proved to be yet another milestone in Rajni's career.

An analysis of Rajni's career graph shows a remarkable absence of fits and starts. It has been a slow and steady rise to the very top. As Rajni sings in a hit song from Badshah, a man's life may be divided into eight divisions. Rajni's own career may be divided into three segments. The first as a villain, the second as a hero with negative traits, and the third and present phase, as the reigning czar of Tamil filmdom. With Rajni's films fetching crores and his market price skyrocketing, the costs of production of his films became unmanageable. And Rajni has since had to stick to a one film per year formula, sometimes, he could do a film once in two years.

The new trend where his films' collections exceed normal regional film expectations started off with Badshah, followed by Annamalai, Arunachalam, Ejaman, Muthu and Padayappa. It's now an accepted fact that only a Rajnikant film can break records set by his own films.

As an actor, Rajnikant's greatest asset, apart from his style is his sense of humour and comic timing. Like Amitabh Bachchan is popular for his drunken soliloquies, Rajnikant is famous for his comic encounters with snakes, repeated umpteen times.

In the early 80s, Rajnikant made a foray into Bollywood with Andhaa Kanoon, a superhit. But Rajnikant could not concentrate on Hindi films because he was already safely ensconced down South. He still made a few films in Hindi, to mention specially Chaalbaaz which had Sridevi in a dual role. Rajni also enjoys a special kind of popularity in Telugu films and his Peddarayudu (remake of Tamil hit Nattammai) seems to have broken all previous records. The Telugu version of Padayappa has been a money-spinner, too. Rajnikant became a trendsetter recently with his Muthu and its songs becoming a rage in Japan and now, Padayappa running to packed houses in the UK and USA.

Basically a religious person, Rajnikant has always owned up his faith. "I was brought up by the Ramakrishna Mission and it's from there that I have inherited this religious frame of mind," he keeps saying. Even his films have him openly sharing his faith. In Arunachalam he mouths that famous line, "God decides and Arunachalam executes it." His public meetings are always spiced with humour and embellished with anecdotes from mythology.

Married to Lata, an English literature graduate, hailing from an elite Iyengar family in 1980, Rajni has two daughters who are carefully kept away from the limelight. Lata herself a versatile singer, now runs a school called The Ashram. The couple indulges in a lot of charity, the latest being converting his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam into a charitable trust to help the poor and needy.

Ego and starry airs are unknown to Rajnikant. During breaks he hardly ever rushes to his air-conditioned makeup room. Instead, he prefers to sleep on the sets, even without a pillow, merely covering his eyes with a wet cloth. He never comes to functions with a retinue behind him and even prefers to drive his own car.

Rajnikant's phenomenal success and his sway over the masses make people speculate whether he will follow the footsteps of the late MGR and enter politics. Though there has been a lot of pressure on him to enter politics by the likes of actor turned journalist, Cho Ramaswamy ("Rajnikant is the best choice for chief ministership because he has a basic integrity and simplicity, a quality which is very rare these days") Rajnikant has persistently maintained a diplomatic silence, except for the fact that he openly supported the ruling DMK in the last assembly elections and discreetly in the recent Lok Sabha elections. When pressed, Rajnikant answers in his own inimitable style, "Yesterday I was a conductor, today I'm a star, tomorrow what I'll be only He knows!"

A bit of a recluse, he may be at heart, but everyone who's had the privilege of a darshan with the thalaivar has come away with a spring in his step, and a warm glow in his heart. Warm, friendly and affable, he's the sort who deserves all the superstardom he's earned. Such men, indeed, are rare.

N.T. Ramarao, founder of Telugu Desam party, created a lasting impression over Telugu people especially poor. People affectionately called him –N.T.R. Nandamuri Taraka ramarao was born on 28th-may-1923, in ‘’Nimmakuru’’ village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. At the time of his birth, the population of that village was 500 only.

Peda Ramaswamy, the grandfather of NTR, Was a land lord and had 80 acres of land. The Land was divided among his four sons and the family was reduced to a middle class family. Ramaswamy’s eldest son’s name was Ramaiah. The second son’s name was Lakshmaiah Chowdary, who was the father of NTR. His mother’s name was Venkataravamma. As Ramaiah had no children, he adopted NTR as his son. NTR’s younger brother’s name is Trivikrama Rao

2. Education:

NTR studied up to 5th class in his native place and his teacher’s name was Valluru Subba Rao. NTR acted in dramas since his childhood. NTR left his native place to Vijayawada, for high-school studies and joined in Gandhi municipal high school of 1 town.

After passing the school –final examination, he joined in S.R.R and C.V.R. College to study intermediate course. At that time his family’s condition was not good and they sold out 10 acres of land to clear the debts. So NTR’s parents came to Vijayawada to look after him and his studies.

His father Laxmaiah set up the dairy farm for selling the milk. NTR also used to supply the milk to hotels, by riding on his Hercules bicycle. At the time of studying the intermediate course, two things happened in the life of NTR.

1. He began to take active part to act in the dramas (since his 20th year). He acted in a drama portraying a female role viz;’’ Nagamma’’.

2. He married “Basavatarakam’’ a nearest relative to him in 1942.

Whatever the cause may be NTR failed in the intermediate examination two times. He never got disappointed in spite of the relatives’ remarks against him and his education. The great thing about NTR was, he never accepted the defeat since his childhood. Leadership qualities were more in him. He is a born leader.

With the consent of his father, he had been to Bombay (Mumbai), to get training in sound recording system. He discarded the training as the conditions were not favorable. While he was in Bombay, he set up a meals hotel viz; ‘’Andhra Mess’’, there also he used to tell the customers about the greatness of the Telugu people. He returned to Vijayawada, at the call of his father. He did also tobacco business. At this time his foster father Ramaiah died due to ill health. Anyhow with the stint of hard work, he passed the intermediate examination.

Now he joined in BA course in AC College Guntur. At this time he got cinema offers but he refused to act in films. He passed BA in 1947 (in the same year India got independence). At this a son was born and his name was Ramakrishna.

In May 1947, NTR had been to Madras (Chennai) to act in cinemas but returned without acting. In the mean time he got a job in the military but his father did not permit him to join in that field.

3. Job opportunities: NTR appeared for the service commission exam. Out of thousands of candidates who appeared for the exam, only 12 members passed. NTR was one among them. He joined the post of sub- registrar in Guntur. The salary was Rs 190/ month.

Again he received offers from Madras to act in films. NTR was not in a firm position to take any decision. His younger brother ,Trivikrama Rao and another person viz; Chalapathi Rao (joint-registrar) encouraged NTR to go to Madras to act in films, as there is no sufficient income in government job to make both the ends meet. Moreover the circumstances in this job are not conducive to his mentality. He got bad experiences while discharging the duties, like bribes etc.
So NTR left for Madras to act in the films. NTR never worked against his consciousness. NTR continued in the job for 11 days only.

4. Cinema life:

In Madras, NTR met L.V. Prasad (actor and producer), who advised him to meet B.A. Subbarao who astonished after seeing NTR’S Personality. He was 5 feet 10 inches in height and 75 -80 kg in weight.

Immediately Subbarao obtained an agreement from NTR to act in his film and paid 1000 rupees as remuneration (at that time it was a big amount). One time meals cost ½ rupee only.
Then he returned to Guntur and resigned the job. He left for Madras alone, for good, to act in films.

He stayed in a lodge namely ‘’Poornam’s lucky lodge’’ along with three friends, whatever the cause may be, luckily all of them settled in cinema field.

NTR’s first movie: Mana Desam (our country).
His role: Sub-inspector.

Later he became legend in movies and politics. He founded Telugu Desam party which came to power just within 9 months.

Everyone knew the movie and political history of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. We may never a person like N.T. Rama Rao in our life time. We are lucky in that aspect. Telugu Desam leaders and cadre should work hard to keep the spirit and values of our “Anna”.

QUALIFICATION

CAREER BEGINNING
Chiranjeevi started his career first in the movie 'Punadi Rallu' and then for the film Pranam Kharidu .He played lot of negative role in many of the movies like Manavoori Pandavulu, Mosagadu, and 49 Rojulu. MAHANATI SAVITRI BIOGRAPHY

Savithri was born on December 6th, in the year 1936 in Chirravur village in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Nissankaram Guraviah and Subhadramma were her parents. She lost her father when she was just six years old. With her uncle’s support, she studied till third form (eighth standard) in Kasturi Bai Memorial School at Vijayawada. She learnt dancing while she was studying and got loads of appreciations whenever she performed on the stage. She was born in a wealthy family. She learnt music and classical dance under Sista Purnayya Sasthri and gave some public performances as a child in Vijayawada. She worked in a theater company run by Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, K Jaggayya et al. Later on she started her own group, the Navabharata Natya Mandali. She also acted in a play Atma Vanchana by Buchi Babu.

She was bestowed into the film industry at a very young age (at the age of twelve) as she got an offer in the film ‘Agni Pariksha’. She merely missed the chance because she looked too young to play the role in that particular film. Soon after that, she got a key role in the film ‘Samsaram’, which was produced by the banner ‘Sadhana Chitra’ in 1950 but again bad luck shoved off the role since she felt very abashed and tensed up to take through with Akkineni Nageswara Rao as he is a big star. As a result she was replaced by Pushpalatha but was offered a small role in that movie. When the film was released, the producers and directors recognized her inborn talent. She caught chances to act in films like ‘Sankranthi’, ‘Palleturu’ etc. She performed in a dance flick in the legendary film ‘Pathala Bhairavi’ in 1951. There was no looking back for Savithri, after she had performed as a second heroine in the film ‘Pelli Chesi Choodu’ in 1952.

She made her debut in Telugu Cinema with LV Prasad's Samsaram. She acted in minor films until she turned a star with Pelli Chesi Choodu. She had to wait till Ardhangi to establish her acting credentials. She played the lead role of Mary in LV Prasad's comedy film Missamma. She acted in several films by choreographer-director Raghavaiah, e.g Devadas.

She acted in memorable films like Pelli Chesi Choodu (1952), Palletooru (1952), Chandra Haram (1953), Devadasu (1953), Ardhangi (1955), Missamma(1955), Donga Ramudu (1955), Amara Deepam (1956), Mayabazaar (1957), Appu Chesi Pappu Kodu (1959), Sri Venkateswara Mahatyam (1960), Aradhana (1962), Gundamma Katha (1962), Rakta Tilakam (1963), Mooga Manasulu (1963), Poojaphalam (1964), Pandava Vanavasam (1965), Prana Mitrulu (1967), Varakatnam (1968), Maro Prapancham (1970) and Jagan Mohini (1978).

Of all Savithri's movies Chivarakumigiledi is considered to be a magnum opus. But the film was a total financial failure. Apart from those films that are already mentioned there are some more great movies such as DongaRamudu(1956), Todikodallu(1957), Mangalya Balam(1958), Abhimanam(1958), Muripinche muvvalu(1960), Manchi Manasulu(1961), Doctor Chakravarthi(1964), Devatha(1965) and Manase Mandiram(1971). These movies stand as a shining testimony to her versatality as an actress. These movies will find a mention in a list of all time great telugu movies.

She almost acted with every top hero of the Telugu and the Tamil cinema fields. Savithri used to take over the scene regardless of the actor she was performing with. She was similarly triumphed over the Telugu and Tamil industries. She was treated as the number one heroine. Because at that time there used to be nearly 20 Savithri starred movies released in a year. Every role where Savithri had enacted made her to stand as a persistent symbol. The audience as well as the critics appreciated her. The women audience would adore Savithri for her liveliness and captivating performance. During her career, she focused her mind only on acting. She found no time to think about anything other than acting. She was very dedicated to her career. Since she was chubby, she even underwent severe dieting to suit her role while she was acting for some of her films.

Telugu and Tamil Films

Once when she took a chance to visit Gemini Studios, for the first time she met Gemini Ganeshan over there. Gemini Ganeshan used to be a well-known hero in the Tamil industry and was called as ‘Kaadal Mannan’ (King of Love) by the Tamil audience. Gemini Ganeshan, subsequently, said about Savithri “She would definitely develop into an outstanding actress in future.” Later his calculation turned out to be true when she got an offer in the film ‘Devadas’, pairing with Akkineni Nageswara Rao. She incurred a substantial position for her in the Telugu film industry after acting in the film ‘Devadas’ in the year 1953. This was the film, which raised Savithri's image as an artiste. Among the films of Savithri, the most illustrious films were ‘Missamma’, ‘Maya Bazar’, ‘Ardhangi’, ‘Kanya Sulkam’, ‘Devatha’, ‘Naadee Aada Janme’, etc., where her astonishing performance bewitched the spectators.

Awards
She was also a famous actress in Tamil film industry. She was given the rare title Nadigeyar Thilakam (Great Actress) for her fine performances.

She was awarded with the title Kalai Mamani by the Tamilnadu State Government, Nati Siromani by the Andhra Yuvathi Mandali and with an apt title as Mahanati.

Personal Life
Her association with the Tamil actor Gemini Ganeshan feathered while they were acting together for a Tamil film ‘Manam Pola Mangalyam’ and it was again a love story, which directed to a secret marriage in the year 1956. Afterward it was revealed subsequently when Savithri gave her photo for the Lux soap advertisement, as it was signed as ‘Savithri Ganesh’ at the backside of the photograph. Savithri and Gemini were blessed with two children Vijaya Chamundeswari and Sathish. Savithri used to be very strict, disciplined and compassionate as a mother. Because of her work pressure she hardly found time to spend with her kids. Even then she used to capture some time out of her hectic schedule and spent a good quality of time with her kids. She gave her children complete liberty while insuring certain restrictions on them. She never raised hands at her children. She loved her kids immeasurably. Since there was no availability of televisions at that time, she arranged a 16mm projector, to show the films that she had acted to her kids. Even though she discussed about films with her children she never entertained them to pick for films, as she never wished her children to experience the pains, which she had faced. Savithri's 100th film ‘Konjum Salangai’ (‘Muripinche Muvvalu’ in Telugu) happened to be paired with Gemini Ganeshan!

Apart from the films and her children, jasmine flowers and drizzling rain were her favorite whimsies. She used to have a jasmine garden at her home and she delighted plucking flowers from the bushes and wearing them on her hair. She used to swamp herself in the rain, which was an enjoyment for her. Savithri was a left-hander. She also had a great enthrallment towards sports and games like cricket and chess. She never missed a cricket match that was played in Chennai. Famous West Indies cricketer Gary Sobers was her most favorite sports person. Even in those days she participated in the star-cricket with Sivaji Ganeshan..

She even possessed an attractive chess table made of ivory. She was born with a tremendous sense of humour so as she got a great and perfect proficiency in mimicking others. She left no person that she had known not imitated. She enjoyed replicating people e.g. her husband Gemini Ganeshan, Relangi, Saroja Devi, Sivaji Ganeshan, S.V. Ranga Rao, Kabir Bedi and many others. Basically she was very strong-minded and unwavering person. No human factor could change her choices that she had made once furthermore she would never give up things easily. She would never tell her problems to anyone she led her life according to her own inherent aptitude. She was very freehearted and freehanded while extending helping hands to others. Once she went entirely bejeweled with gold and diamonds to meet the Prime Minister, Sri Lal Bahaddur Shastri and gave away all the adornment for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Some people exploited her quality of innocence and generosity.

Unfortunately marriage was not a good occurrence in Savithri’s life. When her husband, the person, whom she adored and trusted a lot, ditched her, she was awfully distressed moreover it was a great blow on her trust towards a person. The shock directed her to undergo depressed conditions in her later part of life. It was very painful for her to live alone in a vast house with two immature children. She lost trust in people and adopted dangerous habits like alcohol, sleeping pills, and drugs. Slowly the appetite vanished, intoxicants had overruled her sentiments and sensitivities. Savithri was hospitalized many times. She suffered a lot during her stay at the hospitals. On the course of her travel to Mysore for a shooting she broke down, went into coma, and was hurried back to Chennai where her children admitted her in a hospital.

There she lost her speech and left this world on 26th, December 1981 at Madras. She left her screen life as an eternal model.

SUMANTH BIOGRAPHY

Sumanth (born in February 9) is a Telugu film actor. He is the nephew of actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and the grandson of veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.Sumanth studied in a Hyderabad public school until he was 17 years old, completing +2. After that, he came to U.S. for six years. During those six years, having joined an engineering course at University of Michigan. He later realized it did not match his career ambitions and made a shift to art and directing. Sumanth received an undergraduate degree in Direction and Screen writing from Colombia in Chicago, IL. In August 2004, he married Keerthi Reddy. However in 2005, they registered for divorce.
Sumanth started his career in Tollywood in 1999 with Ram Gopal Varma's Prema Katha. The film became a disaster. His next two films Yuvakudu and Snehamante Idera also didn't fare well either at box office. However in 2003, he delivered his first hit, Sathyam, co-starring Genelia D'Souza. In 2004, he acted in another hit film, Gowri. The year 2005 didn't prove to be lucky for Sumanth as he starred in flop films like Dhana 51 and Mahanandi. However in 2006, Sumanth played the male lead in Sekhar Kammula's Godavari, which is so far the biggest commercial and critically acclaimed film in Sumanth's career.

Gadde Rajendra Prasad known as Rajendra Prasad is a Telugu film actor. He was born in a middle class family from Nimmakuru, Krishna District. He acquired engineering degree from andhra university but preferred a career in acting. After initial hardships in search of a break in the film industry, he got a role in the movie Sneham. During the intitial phase of his career he got petty roles but emerged as very popular comedy actor in the decade of eighties and nineties starting from Ladies Tailor (1985). He is fondly called as King of Comedy by his fans.

Srikanth was born in Gangavathi Dist. Koppal, Karnataka. He did B.Com in Karnataka University , Dharwar ,Karnataka, India and got a diploma from the film institute. Srikanth is married to Ooha and has a son, Roshan and a daughter, Medha. He played minor roles in many films before playing a hero. His first hit film as a hero was Pelli Sandadi which was directed by famous director K.Raghavendra Rao. Along with S.V Krishna Reddy he gave good hit movies like vinodam and Egire Pavurama.His hit movies are Khadgam ,Shankar Dada M.B.B.S, Pellam Orelithe, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Oo Chinadana. He currently lives in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.He is very close to Tollywood Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

He recently acted in the movie operation duryodhana which was a decent hit and reached the expectation of audience. His character in the movie was bhagavanthudu. His wife Laxmi was also a film actress earlier to marriage.
